I followed this ant carrying another dead ant. I didn't know why he carried it. Maybe they will give him a descent burial? Just this morning, we heard a very sad news. One of the Filipinos working in our company just died due to covid19. I know how painful it is to the side of his family. He will go back home as an "ash" and his family will no longer see his face. Speaking of ash, this is what I found on my research: the term "ashes" is a bit misleading, since what families receive after a cremation isn't a soft powder, but instead a grayish, coarse material, like fine gravel, made from the ground-up remains of bones. He was fully vaccinated, so we must still take extra care to ourselves because vaccines are no guarantee that we will no longer get infected by this virus. May his soul rest in peace.
