@Adbent more from that month

This was one of my best moments with my only daughter and was happened during our very first out-of-the-city trip as a complete family. She's turning one on this photo and she is very naughty and playful. On the day of our trip back home, we encountered a problem with our ferry tickets, so we went to the port to settle it. My wife decided to go alone inside the port because they only allow one person. My wife forgot to give the bag to me wherein the things that our daughter needs were there. I thought that she can settle it faster but I was wrong. Our daughter kept on running everywhere and until she saw one child eating ice cream, so she cried aloud and asked for it. We bought one at a nearby store, and then we went back to the gate of the port. She sat in the corner beside a vendor and enjoying silently her ice cream. I texted my wife if she's okay inside and why it takes so long. And then I checked my daughter again, and voila! The ice cream melted already and she used her finger to eat it and it scattered all over her body. I wanted to get panic because I don't know what to do in that kind of situation. I don't have anything. Her extra clothes are in the bag with my wife and even a handkerchief, I didn't have. I tried to fix her but she refused and worry that she will be having a tantrum if I will insist. What I did is that, I just cherished the moment. I am standing in front of her at that time smiling and taking some pictures of her. I was more amazed at her when she gave a smile to every person passing by at the gate. There's one girl who tried to give her money but I refused and said "thank you", instead. Maybe they thought that we are beggars, haha. After almost an hour, my wife appeared at last! And I thought she will get mad at me but she smiled, too. That's the second time that we had met and the first time was during her baptism in her 2nd month. I can only count the days on my fingers that we're together because I am working abroad. What I realized is that in just one scenario I might surrender or lost my patience with my lovely daughter but how about my wife? She will be the one to take good care of our daughter alone. That is why being a mother is the most difficult and important job on earth. So, thumbs up to my wife and to all the single mothers out there! ***Waaaah, too long already. Good evening, everyone here. How's your day, Noisers? #myphotomystory #NoiseCash
