Binance Word of The Day | 12th May 2025
**Word of the Day | Binance**
I don’t need to introduce Binance, so I’ll skip that part. However, it is worth talking about what Binance is doing. The largest crypto exchange in the world is ensuring that we don’t just have fun trading and doing business on the exchange but also fun the traditional way.
What? Not on Binance?

Out of many things they have introduced, including games, here is the one I like the most – Binance Word of the Day. The idea is to guess the word for a given day. The word can be guessed from the Theme of the week. The theme and the write-up are shared and available for the entire week.
Sounds interesting?
Keen to get to the Word of the Day? Yes? Then scroll down straight to the answer.
Good luck! 😊
**How Does It Work?**
It’s simple. It follows the more renowned Word of the Day or WORDLE introduced a few years back by New York Times. It has the same style and works the same way. The only thing is you have to figure out a word leaning towards crypto based on the Theme of the week.
For those who don’t know what WORDLE is, it is a word-identifying game where you get six chances to guess the correct word of the day. Each time you guess the word, the game helps you by coloring the alphabets of the word. If the alphabet is grey, then that alphabet is not part of the final word. If it is orange, then that alphabet is part of the word but not in the right spot. If it is green, then that alphabet is part of the word and in the right spot.
The same logic is for Binance’s word of the day. The only difference is that Binance's word of the day could be five letters, six, seven, or eight letters long.
But why should I play? What’s in it for me other than the fun?
**But, What’s In It For Me?**
Playing is fine and wordle is great, but why should I play? Hmm.. good question. That’s because you earn points every week and then you can exchange these points for token vouchers like USDC or BNB. And if you are a trader then you could exchange the points for trading rebate vouchers in USDC.
This means, you actually get tokens or rebates on your trades, and both are direct economic benefits you wouldn’t want to miss. Makes sense? It does, I am sure.
Now, let’s look at today’s solution.

Out of many things they have introduced, including games, here is the one I like the most – Binance Word of the Day. The idea is to guess the word for a given day. The word can be guessed from the Theme of the week. The theme and the write-up are shared and available for the entire week.
Sounds interesting?

Formula 1 Teams | 2025 Crypto Sponsors | Another Year of Crypto Making Its Presence Felt
**Disclaimer:** Does this look like financial advice? You are right. It isn’t. Treat it so.
“Do Your Own Research” (DYOR) is not a fad but an important element of the cryptoverse. Do keep that in mind.
Formula 1 And Sponsors
Formula 1 is by far one of the costliest sports on the planet, and it has an equally large following. Any large viewership is bound to attract sponsors, and there have been many over the years.
> Fun Fact: With a following of 827 million, F1 is the seventh most popular sport. The top six are soccer, cricket, hockey, tennis, volleyball, and table tennis.
The cryptoverse’s advent was only in the 21st century with the introduction of Bitcoin in 2009. It has undoubtedly exploded since then, with a total market cap of $2.8 trillion.
Sooner or later crypto had to come knocking at the doors of F1. And it did.
Crypto | Exposure | Awareness | And F1
Like any new concept (especially a concept doing well), crypto too required a large exposure to create awareness. Thus, F1 became one of the avenues. The association between F1 and crypto commenced in 2021, and it is still going strong.
A look at the F1 teams and their crypto sponsors in 2025.
Besides these team sponsors, Crypto.com is the overall sponsor of the F1 organization.
> Fun Fact: Aston Martin becomes the first F1 team to accept its Coinbase sponsorship in crypto. Aston Martin was paid in USDC (crypto stablecoin).
Such sponsorships are an attempt to reach the crypto non-users. With an estimated 560 million crypto users worldwide, the world is indeed an oyster for the crypto verse.
While the F1-Crypto association highlights the exposure that the crypto world seeks, it's hard to ignore that the cryptoverse is already big enough to sponsor F1 teams and events. The F1-Crypto tango will continue for the foreseeable future, and it augurs well for all!

Torum Shutting Down V1 and V2 | How To Claim Your XTM | And Your User Data
**Disclaimer:** Does this look like financial advice? You are right. It isn’t. Treat it so.
“Do Your Own Research” (DYOR) is not a fad but an important element of the cryptoverse. Do keep that in mind.
Long Story Short
We knew it for long, but the Torum team has now confirmed that they will be shutting down Torum V1 and V2 by 31st March 2025. So, what happens to your XTM, all the posts, and your content?
You can get it. Here’s how.
Straight to the Point | Withdrawing XTM
Since XTM was the native token of Torum and most users had enough and more content on the site, it is only fair that you should get both back. The Torum team has ensured that.
It won’t work if you go straight to withdraw from the site. You will have to fill out a Google Form, and the Torum team will get back to you in two weeks.
Here is the post by Jason Tay (Torum Team): https://www.torum.com/u/jayson
The Google Form is in the post. So, go on and fill in your details, including where you would like your Torum to be deposited. There are only two exchanges – KuCoin and Huobi. Do it before 31st March 2025. After that, all data will be purged (I guess) and all XTM burned permanently.
That’s It.
Now the Long Story
While XTM is worthless at the moment, Torum has some plans. Torum has already launched a crypto exchange and is now the sixth licensed crypto exchange (DAX) in Malaysia. They are also in the process of launching Torum Pay, an e-wallet for crypto transactions with VISA integration. In all this, they intend to keep XTM as the native token, and so, a chance that the value would increase in the future. Although, they claim the tokenomics would change.
So, if it works, your XTM will have value; if not, you have nothing to lose. The only ones with an issue would be those who spent money buying NFTs on the site.
Anyway, fingers crossed for you guys too.

Binance Word of The Day | 27th March 2025
