Laziness Does Not Help You In Life.

My best friend, whose name is Jeff, was very lazy when we were in school, which letter affected him in the future. We attended crown college. He always disturbs teachers in the class. He never takes his not to read in school and even at home. We are three best friends and we work together and do things together as well. We are Jeff Mark and Tolu, which happens to be me. As his best friend, we always advise him to read his books at all times. At times we force him to preach to him that hard work is the key To success but he will not listen to Our Kin advice.

He told us that we are always reading because our parents are not rich and that is one of the major reasons we are always working hard. The truth of the issue is that hard work pays irrespective of your background or wherever you are coming from. So he told us that since his parents are rich he will not be able to work hard neither will he read his books.

One thing about his mum is that she wants him to read fervently and most of the time punish him but yet he will not be able to change from the aspect of laziness. All Jeff can do is sit to play PS or football around the community rather than read. He doesn't even help his mum with house chores but he loves eating and sleeping a lot. We should all know that the qualities of lazy people are sleeping and eating.

Out of the years we spent in School he always depended on us instead of Reading or writing exams independently. We always teach him during exams because we are not the type who can allow our partners to fail although it is not the best way to help him. When we got to the highest class in the senior classes he failed all the exams he wrote just because we were not together to put him through in the final year exams. The orders including myself passed our exams which made us truly and fully happy.

Jeff did not regret failing because his parents were rich and Jeff was depending on his parent's wealth. His parents need to process admission into one of the colleges instead of the universities of his dream. This was because he did not achieve the expectations of the university. I'm getting two the college of education he was admitted to and he began his usual style of living. He was always going to play football, present phone chatting as well as go to parties. All these affected him a lot in his educational life.

He attends class once in a while but during the test, he will be copying his course mates work. This shows that he is still having the same character of not being serious when he was still in secondary school. Then for today's two exams, he carries his book to read in preparation for the exam. He did the exam but copied others and was promoted to the next level as a third class lower. The same thing kept on recurring and of course, he was having the same grade which happens to be third-class throughout his stay in the college of education. He made one great mistake which cost him a setback in the college of education during the examination. Jeff was caught cheating in the exams hall. The lecturer who caught him cheating is a disciplinarian and does not take nonsense nor does he take bribes. Jeff on the other hand has not been attending his class and so did not know his method of discipline.

Mr Patak was the one who caught him and Jeff began to beg him and promised to give him a tangible amount of money which could cover him up but to his surprise, Mr Patak did not answer him. He took Jeff to the examination committee and explained everything that had happened to the committee and how Jeff was trying to bribe him. They told him to go outside and wait for them at the door. They had a meeting on how to deal with him about the case. The committee letter concluded by rusticating Jeff from the school. They called him in and told him that he had been rusticated from the school. He cries and begs them to allow him to stay and that he will not repeat that act, but to his surprise, they did not listen to him.

His parents were called and were told about his behaviour and what he has done and also the decision they have taken to remove him from the school because he must serve as a bad influence to others. He regretted his act and his behaviour towards education. Jeff left the school and went to another term where he met one guy whose name is Fen. Fen was playing football when he saw him roaming about. He called him and asked him what he was looking for and Jeff explained everything to him. He was so sorry and told Jeff his own story. He advised Jeff to tell his parents that they will quickly look for a solution because he can't help me. He left there with annoyance and rented a room and with his money which happens to be his monthly allowance. He rented a room with the monthly allowance that his parents sent to him. He will wake up in the morning to eat and sleep as early as possible.

On seeing the unseriousness in Jeff and his parents were not satisfied because they were always encouraging Jeff in all ways. Jeff always ignores their words not until when his parents disown him as their child. He has cost them many things and has made them spend a lot of money. Jeff kept on roaming about not knowing what to do or room to run to.

Hard work pays and we should ensure not to run away from being serious or from encouragement. People that are encouraging us are like God to us and we should find by all means to accept any form of encouragement given to us. Stubbornness can draw someone into doing what he is not supposed to do and into becoming the most useless fellow on Earth.
