Africa to get 220 million corona vaccine
The World Health Organization (WHO) says if corneal immunization is confirmed, Africa will receive 220 million doses of the vaccine. The head of the agency's Africa branch, Richard Mihigo, said priority would be given to health workers in the first phase of treatment. Vaccines will then be distributed based on the population in African countries. And the WHO says all 54 African countries have expressed a need for corticosteroid treatment. Africa has a population of over 1.3 billion.
