What’s holding you back? It’s easy to just say “I hold myself back in life”. And usually that’s a good place to start. The responsibility of acknowledging you truly are the one that holds yourself back. But what is it about you that holds you back? The two major examples that I experience working with others is the same thing usually for me too. The inability to accept new ideas and information at times and to let go of the things that I have no influence over and weight me down. We have to be willing to accept new information to be able to grow. It’s nice to have habits or routines if they help us be successful. But the growth is limited if we always stay in the same place. But the biggest conflict in growth is the things we hold on to that absolutely stifle our advancement. We hold onto so much weight when we don’t necessarily have to. Especially those things that will never change or we have absolutely no influence on. Sometimes it is even just the catabolic energy from an experience we hold on to that literally drains us and restricts us from any real growth. Be willing to learn. To accept new ideas and information to allow the knowledge to grow within you. But just as importantly, acknowledge what unnecessary weights you are carrying. If you cannot change it, let it go. You don’t have to carry it no more. Don’t keep draining yourself. Choose the thrive in life. Learn and let go. It’s in your power.
