After all these years I still look at another’s eyes in search of you. But every soul that passed my way could never meet my eyes the way yours did. When I said you’ll always have a piece of my heart with you, I meant it because I still feel it tugging softly with longing to the parts it was once attached to. I still look at the street signs and traffic lights of that same place I first held your gaze, taking the long way back home hoping they still lead to the same road that will take me back to you. I still try to visit places that reminds me of you and up to this day, with the hopes that our paths would somehow cross again, as fate has a funny way of doing so in the past — your silhouette among the sea of crowds, is just something I’d dive in just to get to. Every line I wrote still echoes solely your name. So forgive me, for my memories of you were never tarnished nor lost for you left more than your footprints down my memory lane. You’ve become the well-curated artifact in my own museum, my centerpiece. My metaphorical vice I promised to quit on only to find out I broke it even before I made the vow of cutting off the ties that were made. The worst case scenario is, after all this time, my love is still in the shape of you.

It just go with the sayings. First love never dies. But reality is reality. What is meant to be will be meant to be.
Your words have feelings as well as sadness both. I don't believe on love stories but I like small deeds of kindness and love from you 😂.
