I've taken the last few weeks to live slower, recognizing that if my life were a book I didn't want to skim the pages. And in my craving to be present for my life, I slowed down; my breath, my consumption, my "productivity." I even slowed down the number of posts and content I share with you on a weekly basis. In an incredibly fast-paced world with increasing levels of stress, anxiety and burnout, Slow Living can save lives. And I think this is an important conversation because how many of us are not feeling like we are “not doing enough” with our lives or that we’re falling behind in comparison to our peers? How many of us struggle to consciously slow down without feeling guilty about our progress? 🙋🏽🙋🏽♂️🙋🏽♀️ Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is do nothing at all, but be present where your feet and eyes are at. Faster isn't always better. More isn't always greater Progress isn’t always visible. I’m slowly easing my way back into being more active on here because I know how helpful the content on The Artidote is for many, but this convo is something that has been on my heart for a while. Would you like to know more about Slow Living? Because I have tons to share 😂 Anyway, I hope this post serves as the gentle reminder that you are not doing anything wrong by living life at your own pace 🤍
