TOPIC: CHRIST'S REPRESENTATIVES By Pastor Sarah Joseph Jonathan 2Corinthians 5:20- *"Now then we are ambassadors for Christ ..."* An ambassador is an authorised representative of His country to a foreign government. As believers, God has commissioned us as His ambassadors. Wherever we are right now is our place of jurisdiction. It may be annoying that you are in that locality, but it is not an accident that you found yourself there. God has business for you! *"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven."* (Matthew 5:16) As a believer in Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells in you. His presence makes you glow in the midst of darkness, and helps you to bring forth good works. Two factors are however of immense importance to every ambassador: the first is that you are there temporarily and not on a permanent basis, and the second is that your conduct must reflect who you represent. let's never lose sight of the fact that our sojourn on earth is not for eternity. The commander in chief can call at any time. Don't also get too used to earth and begin to live carelessly. *"For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appears for a little time, and then vanisheth away."* (James 4:14) Talking about our conduct, it is the hallmark of our profession. Our conduct either repel or drives people far from us and the one we represent. As ambassadors of Christ, our utmost duty is to conduct our affairs as it is pleasing to God, no matter who is displeased. And so, when I dress, I ask me, "does this please the one I am representing?" When I make my deals, I ask, is God glorified? When I make decisions, I don't go bragging that "It is my right ... The word of God says, *"ye are not your own."*(1Corinthians 6:19) As you step out today, be mindful of the fact that you are representing Christ, and that He is in charge... LET US PRAY: Thank You father for calling me out of darkness into light. Help me to represent You well. TODAY'S QUOTE : *"You are too loaded to fail.
