Topic: LET'S GO ON A WALK WITH JESUS* Text: Genesis 6:9- *"... Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.'* As I pondered on the possibilities of walking with God and how men of old like Enoch and Noah could accomplish such great feats when they could have chosen to do otherwise, I heard God say clearly: "No one walks with me and remain ordinary" We can go on listing names of saints of old and how they fared in their walk with God, and you will discover that of a truth, no one walks with God and remain ordinary. Anything ordinary is deficient in quality, poor and inferior. That cannot be said of Abraham, Joseph, Isaac, Moses, Jacob, David, Daniiel, Peter, Paul, Timothy, Deborah, Ruth,... They may be unremarkable and less than average when we first met them, but in the course of their walk with God, something do always change for the better. Indeed, God makes the difference! Those great heroes of Faith are among the great cloud of witnesses watching as we run our race. May we never be a disappointment to God and them in Jesus name. However, no one walks with God successfully who has not made up his/her mind to agree to God's terms. *"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"* How many are actually in agreement with most of God's words? So, are we really walking with God? Walking with God is not something we wake up and decide to do; if you do that, you would soon find yourself going back to walking alone again, or hiding from God instead of running to Him like papa Adam did. It is something you sleep on, and like Jesus counselled, 'count the cost' But you know, it's the best decision you will ever make in your life time. Henrietta Mears rightly said that, *"A nan who walks with God always gets to his destination."* When you walk with God, sharing every detail of your life with Him, fellowshipping daily with Him and having sweet talk times with Him, you will end with Him; what can be better than that? Make a decision to begin a walk with God that will end in an eternity with Him
