read.cash is a platform where you could earn money (total earned by users so far: $ 767,388.19).
You could get tips for writing articles and comments, which are paid in Bitcoin Cash (BCH) cryptocurrency,
which can be spent on the Internet or converted to your local money.
I'm starting an experiment to see how far I can get by using the faucets on Southxchange to collect tiny amounts of crypto, then use that crypto on their dice game, playing with the martingale strategy. This basically consists of a 50/50 game where you reset your bet to 1 if you win or double it if you lose. I'm upping the amount to 105% on loss to counter the slight house advantage.
I will update this post with progress reports every 1-3 days. I'm currently using BBP as the coin to gamble with, and at the time of speaking have 0.75 (started with 0.20).
After some serious ups and downs we have now gone over the 1 BBP mark! Obviously this is still worth almost nothing in real money, but it's 5 times the value we started off with earlier today. We also have a little bit of cushion now for any losing streak.
We went down to 0.5, back up to 0.7.. crashed to 0.25, then I made two 100% wallet 50/50 bets and luckily won, now we are back to the modified martingale strategy.
I've also decided to add any tips made on this post to the pot, we need a boost.
After adding the 25c tip from this post, claiming the faucet a few more times, and continuing with a slow martingale strategy on the dice game, we are now at an impressive 1847 BBP which translates to $0.298. Not a bad start so far!
I ended up losing it all with a few reckless bets. Conclusion, it's a waste of time. If you get extremely lucky with some high risk bets maybe, but you are better off writing some content on here, mining, or day trading, for a bit of passive income.
I've also tried playing around with faucets myself in the last few years. I stopped for quite awhile though. What I can say is, the profit is not that high, even for me who is living in a developing country. However, stacking sats using my free time definitely had some small benefits in my life. Looking back the sats that I stack is now worth quite some amount as the price appreciation of cryptocurrencies are skyrocketing. Good luck !
I've tried few faucets myself in the last few years.
They are undoubtedly profitable but only to their creators and owners. My honest opinion :) Eventually, if you get thousands of referees then they could make some sense. How many could get such numbers, though?
The only reason I'm still doing well is due to adding the tip balance from this post to the pot. It's a complete waste of time in the current climate, but then again.. I remember mining BTC on a laptop and also using faucets, didn't seem much then, but they were literally giving away thousands in today's money.
Holding has been the only thing to make me serious money, but mining alt-coins and then transferring them to your coin of choice is a good way to build your portfolio at a huge discount. Sites like this are a better source of income than faucets.
Absolutely! Moreover, being yourself and doing what you love is much better than serving other people ideas the easy way :) Have a great day and stay safe!
