From Miner to Builder: How I built my own Transparent BCH Solo Mining Node & Co-op Pool 🟩⛏️
Hello, Bitcoin Cash community! My name is Argenis, and I'm writing to you from Venezuela. I've been in the mining space for a while, but I always felt that traditional pools operated like black boxes. You never really know their true Luck %, fees can be confusing or hidden, and the whole setup is highly centralized. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and build my own system. **The Architecture (For the geeks 🤓)** I set up a full Bitcoin Cash node using **5tratumOS** and the **ckpool** engine for brute force. But I didn't want to stop at just having a backend. I wanted to invite my friends and the broader community to hunt blocks with me in a 100% transparent way. To achieve this, I coded a web Dashboard from scratch using **Node.js** that hooks directly into the node's local API in real-time. **What makes this Co-op special?** I created a custom logic where the dashboard tracks your hash power live using your own Legacy wallet as the worker name. If our combined farm breaks a block and we win the 3.125 BCH reward, the Dashboard automatically calculates—**in plain sight for everyone to see**—the exact percentage of hash power you contributed and exactly how much BCH you are owed. No hidden math, no shady fees. Everything is displayed right on the screen.
**An Open Invitation 🤝** This project was just born. Full disclosure: since I haven't coded an automated treasury bot yet, the block reward distribution will be done **manually by me** as soon as the block confirms on the network. However, I will be strictly following the public math dictated by the Dashboard's distribution table. If you own an ASIC (Whatsminer, Antminer, etc.) or rent hash power (like on NiceHash), and you want to join a community-driven project to hunt a block together, our doors are wide open! 🌐 **You can check out the live working Dashboard here:** **contac me** *(Click the green "How to Mine" button inside for stratum connection details and a built-in Legacy address converter).* I would love to read your thoughts in the comments. What do you think of the UI design? Are there any specific features you'd like to see added to the panel? Any feedback from this amazing community is highly appreciated! Happy hashing, everyone! 🚀
