Heavy rains that hit North Aceh Regency caused Krueng Pase to overflow. This resulted in the sub-district of Samudera and District of Geureudong Pase being hit by floods. Acting (Plt) Chief Executive of the Regional Disaster Management Agency of North Aceh Regency, Murzani, said that the overflow of Krueng Pase had occurred since Thursday (30/9/201) night. "The rain in the Geureudong Pase area caused it to flow into residential areas. Two sub-districts were flooded," he said, as reported by Antara, Friday (1/10/2021).
